Description
The purpose of this course is to examine how theories and empirical findings in Developmental Psychology may be applied to nurture human development in diverse domains. Although this perspective is relevant to the cognitive, emotional, physical, and social domains of development, particular attention will be given to program and policy analysis and development as it pertains to parenting, education/training, and government. Course readings will include classic and contemporary empirical and theoretical publications pertaining to diverse domains of human development, with additional readings focusing on the specific domains to be examined.
