The master’s degree in Italian provides opportunities for professional advancement in teaching and professional fields that require a good knowledge of other languages and cultures. It is also a means of intellectual development for those who want to expand their knowledge in the humanities. The MA may be taken either as a final degree or as preparation for doctoral work.
