Program Description
The Hunter College School of Nursing offers a 16-19 credit post master’s advanced certificate program in Nursing Education. The advanced certificate program in nursing education is based on an apprenticeship model of teaching and learning training that combines rigorous coursework and 105 hours of a nurse educator residency practicum with experienced nurse educator mentors. The program will prepare nurses to become nurse educators, either in academic settings or in institutional organizations such as hospitals.
