Students explore in depth different sociological, historical, philosophical, anthropological, and political concepts and theories related to urban schooling. Particular emphasis will be placed on issues such as tracking, parent-school-community relations, inclusion of students with disabilities, the teaching of English language learners, and other diverse populations.
