This course focuses on visual arts education methods, philosophies and theories of learning and development in the visual arts for the adolescent. It emphasizes adolescent aesthetic development, safe and appropriate uses of materials and resources, and appropriate methods and pedagogy for teaching the visual arts in grades 7-12.This Key Course requires a grade of B or better to pass. Any student who receives a grade of F or WU in this class will not be permitted to continue in the program. This course may be repeated only once.
