This course will address typical and atypical childhood development and behavior from birth to three. Students will learn about the mission of Early Intervention program, about using a multi-cultural diversity-informed approach, working with the parent-child dyad, and about using evidence-based interventions, family-centered best practices, reflective practice, and reflective supervision to support self-reflection and their own on-going professional development.
