Course Title

Continuous Improvement 4: Ensuring Sustainability

Description

In this course, participants diagnose their school’s readiness for sustainable improvement. They identify the number of teams, players and systems where decisions are being made according to evidence of the needs of students who are outside the sphere of success, and they take strategic action to hard-wire this capacity within at least one decision-making system. In addition, participants study district systems and the characteristics of successful districts, those that have broken the correlation between race, poverty and student achievement. They also work to develop the personal skills and habits that will sustain them individually as leaders of change in complex and challenging times.
