Learning and Assessment

The advanced certificate program in Learning and Assessment provides certified teachers the opportunity to increase their knowledge and training in assessment and student learning. This 16-credit advanced certificate program will address the needs of individuals who have earned teaching certificates and seek to know more about quality assessment in classrooms and beyond, and how that relates to student cognition and motivation.

Students who complete this program can apply to continue their study in this field through the Master’s degree program in Educational Psychology. If admitted, all 16 credits of this program can transfer towards the requirements of the master’s program, provided they meet general transfer of credit requirements.
