Theater Education (for non-teachers)

The School of Education offers a Theatre Education program to prepare candidates to teach Theatre, PreK - Grade 12, to students of diverse backgrounds, abilities and interests. The Theatre Education programs are run jointly by the Theater Department and by the School of Education. This program was specifically designed for students who do not yet hold New York State (NYS) teaching certification, are seeking NYS certification in Theatre Pre K-12 and who have a bachelor's degree in theatre or a related discipline.
